History

In 2016, CCB International Securities Ltd (CCBIS), a wholly owned subsidiary of CCB International (Holdings) Ltd (CCBI) headquartered in Hong Kong, acquired a controlling shareholding interest in CCBI Global Markets (UK) Limited (CCBIUK) which was then one of the longest serving ring dealing members of the London Metal Exchange. In 2020, the remainder shareholding interest was further acquired and CCBIUK became a wholly owned subsidiary of CCBIS.

 

CCBIUK as a Category 1 Member of the LME has a long history of providing its clients with a complete offering of LME products as it was the first overseas member of the LME in 1970 and an in-depth involvement with the LME.
